Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana RN license active.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required or current.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patient populations per policy.
• Monitor post-anesthesia patients and respond to physiologic changes.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient status.
• Assist with perioperative care and maintain aseptic technique.
• Lead charge nurse responsibilities and supervise unit staff as needed.
