Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN licensure in Louisiana.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in postoperative setting with attention to physiological status.
• Monitor patients, assess pain, and manage medications per policy.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient conditions.
• Lead unit activities, assign tasks, and supervise nursing staff.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in QA/PI activities and performance improvement efforts.
