Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to join the team in Smithtown, NY. This full-time position focuses on providing high-quality postoperative care using the nursing process in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. The RN will assess, document, and coordinate care with the surgical team, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsabilités

• Provide postoperative patient care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcome) in the postoperative phase.
• Assess physiological and psychosocial health status of the patient and pain per policy.
• Document patient history and ongoing care in the chart.
• Verbally report pertinent information to appropriate staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Demonstrate accountability and safe judgment while implementing the plan of care and adjusting it as needed.
