Job summary

Barnes Jewish Hospital – Main Campus is seeking registered nurses for pre-op, post-op, and PACU roles in Parkview Tower. Positions feature rotating start times (10A/12P) with 24 hours of call per schedule, plus holidays and a busy 60-70 cases per day across multiple service lines.

BJC offers a patient-centered culture and a structured RN career ladder. The role requires Nursing Diploma/Associate's in Nursing with RN licensure; preferred is a BSN.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing.
• RN license required.
• No prior experience required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on aftercare, medications and home care needs.
• Ensures patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
