Job summary

Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to guide patients through early recovery after surgery. You will monitor vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure safe, comfortable recoveries.

The role requires an RN license, an associate degree (BSN preferred), and PACU or Pre-Op experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in state or compact required.
• Associate’s degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
• Minimum 1 year PACU or Pre-Op experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties as assigned and requested in PACU.
• Completes focused patient assessments and reassessments.
• Measures and manages pain with appropriate techniques.
• Educates patients and families on recovery expectations.
• Assists physicians with procedures and equipment operation.
