Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Main Campus Recovery Room/PACU. You will support pediatric through adult patients in the immediate post-operative period and work with OR, ED, and inpatient teams. Expect rotating shifts and call; bi-weekly hours total 64.00.

Responsibilities include airway management, hemodynamic assessment, sedation monitoring, pain control, wound checks, and comprehensive patient status reviews. Ohio RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio
• BLS certification
• ACLS and PALS certifications (or within 6 months)
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience
• PRN must have all certifications at hire

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient airway
• Assess hemodynamic stability and support
• Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory status
• Provide adequate pain and comfort measures
• Assess wound/incision integrity
• Conduct overall patient assessments
