Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Parkwest Surgery Center. You will provide nursing care in Pre-Op and PACU, ensuring patient safety and comfort across the perioperative journey.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals, administering meds, documenting care, and coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia. Equal opportunity employer; employer conducts drug screens and background checks.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Tennessee state RN license.
• RN licensure in good standing.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.

Mansioni

• Provide nursing care in Pre-Op and PACU under supervision.
• Lead and direct nursing staff and assistants as needed.
• Ensure continuity of care from pre-op through post-op.
• Document assessments and nursing care clearly.
• Administer preoperative meds and monitor patients.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to abnormalities.
• Maintain patient privacy, comfort and safety.
• Assist in PACU procedures and nerve blocks.
• Maintain narcotic and anesthesia inventories and records.
• Prepare for next-day surgeries and ensure readiness.
