Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for our PACU/ICU teams. Responsibilities include delivering professional nursing care, performing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, and maintaining records.

Hours are 11am–11:30pm with weekend call every six weeks; PACU/ICU experience preferred and career growth supported. Ideal candidates will hold a nursing degree from an accredited program (BSN preferred) and a Texas RN license with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred
• Current State of Texas nursing license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements

Responsibilities

• Delivers professional nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, and maintains medical records.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and coordinates patient care plans and discharge plans.
