Job summary

Flexstaff Ltd. is seeking a registered nurse in New York to deliver comprehensive patient care across clinical units. You will assess physiologic health, formulate care plans, implement treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to improve outcomes.

The role requires NY State RN licensure, BLS, and 1–2 years of nursing experience. Strong communication and empathy are essential for patient and family education and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Associate’s Degree in Nursing, required. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut, required.
• BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the patient’s physiologic health status.
• Assesses patient’s psychosocial health status.
• Identifies patient outcome.
• Formulates the plan of care and establishes the priorities necessary to achieve outcome.
• Implements the plan of care.
• Evaluates care provided for patient outcome.
• Collaborates with other care team members in planning and carrying out treatment regimen; provides direction to other care team
• Performs grade I-IV Decubitus Care
• Administers medications correctly and safely
• Participates in patient and family education
• Performs related duties, as required.
