Job summary

Longview Regional Medical Center in Longview, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient-centered care team. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care, coordinates assessments, plans and executes treatment per physician orders, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role covers medication administration, infection control, patient education, safe equipment operation, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience required in acute care.
• RN license required and active in state of Texas or compact state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately; reports changes to care team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the care team.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions.
