Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, WA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role covers diverse age groups from pediatric to geriatric, providing direct nursing care and teaching to patients and families.

RN with WA license, BLS and ACLS are required; PALS is encouraged. One year of PACU or critical care experience is preferred, with on-call responsibilities and varied shift patterns within a supportive team.

Formación

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing; RN licensure in WA required.
• Current WA State nursing license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS encouraged but not required.

Promotes continuity of care for patients, providing direct care. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains standards for professional nursing practices in the clinical setting. Demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span, demonstrates the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age specific needs and provides the care needed as described in the department/unit’s policy and procedures. Shifts vary according to the needs of the patients and department.
