Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Washington State RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• PALS certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Two years hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for patients on the unit.
• Provides direct patient care and supervises LPNs, CNAs and aides.
• Promotes continuity of care and participates in patient/family teaching.
• Maintains professional nursing standards and supports positive image of nursing.
