Job summary

Mia Aesthetics is seeking a dedicated PACU RN to support patients recovering from surgery. You will provide direct nursing care, monitor post-operative conditions, and coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely recovery and discharge.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree from an accredited program, an active RN license (multistate preferred or willing to obtain), and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Active RN license and current certifications (BLS/ACLS).
• 1 year PACU experience preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in primary care of patients and rounds as needed.
• Delivers nursing care for surgical patients.
• Monitors patients and informs surgeons/anesthesiologist of complications.
• Coordinates patient care with medical staff for continuity.
• Documents information and post-op orders for PACU care.
• Educates patient and family on post-operative care.
• Organizes time, equipment, and staff for patient care.
• Maintains postoperative area cleanliness and stock levels.
