Job summary

Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse – PACU to join our Surgical Services team, delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nurses.

You will assess patients before, during, and after surgery, document care plans, and adhere to infection control and safety standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Colorado or compact state eligibility.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or must obtain within defined timeframe.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Serve as the patient advocate throughout the perioperative process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care activities.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team, patients, and families.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Float to Loveland Campus OR as needed.
