Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive perioperative care across pre-op and PACU.

You will collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, compassionate patient care and smooth transitions through the perioperative process. You will assess patient needs, develop plans, administer therapies, document care, and educate patients and families while floats between units as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma required for RN licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred for experienced RNs.
• Current RN license; licensure in participating state via compact may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs and plan care.
• Develop and implement patient plans of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Perform a range of interventions including IVs, wound care, catheterization and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate charts, document status and outcomes, and support decision-making with IT tools.
• Protect patient health, safety and rights and educate patients/families.

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing

Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
