Job summary

Laser & Surgery Center of Palm Beaches in Florida is seeking a dedicated PACU Registered Nurse to provide continuity and quality care for patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care to ensure patient safety, comfort, and timely discharge.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS (PALS as needed) and typically 2 years in PACU or critical care; strong communication and organizational skills are essential in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in PACU to ensure safe discharge.
• Collaborate with physicians and perioperative team to support procedures.
