Job summary

Select Physicians Surgery Center in Tampa, FL is seeking a Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. You will support the perioperative team, monitor patient safety, and assist with discharge planning.

Ideal candidates hold an active Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, with PACU or critical care experience; strong communication and nursing judgment are essential in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida or state
• Experience in PACU or critical care preferred
• Strong communication and clinical judgment required
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload in busy perioperative areas

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms and maintain sterile techniques
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in preparation for discharge
