Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a RN PACU professional to provide immediate post-operative care in a fast-paced setting. You will monitor airway, neuro and cardiac status, support wound care, and work closely with the surgical and anesthesia teams.

On-call availability is required during select non-business hours and scheduling is posted in advance. Ideal candidates hold an NH RN license with 1 year in PACU or critical care, and will obtain ACLS, BLS, and PALS within specified

Qualifications

• Active NH Registered Nurse license or compact license.
• 1 year of PACU or critical care experience.
• ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• PALS certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered post-anesthesia care.
• Monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status; respond to complications.
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.
• Provide wound care and ensure patient stability during recovery.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and follow-up.
