Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications current.
• Minimum of 2 years PACU or ICU experience.
• Telemetry experience required.
• CPR certified. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of employment if not currently certified.

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders and monitor patient condition.
• Provide total comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate discharge readiness for patients and families.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile technique as appropriate.
