Job summary

Eye Surgery Center of Nashville is seeking a Pre Op PACU RN to provide continuous, high-quality nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia. The nurse will perform assessments, plan and implement care, ensuring safety and comfort during the PACU phase and leading the handoff to discharge.

The role supports a no-call, no-weekends environment with strong administrative backing. Join a collaborative team at an Eye Surgery Center under USPI ownership, focused on excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted state license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' experience in PreOP/PACU.
• Ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to cross-train to circulate in pre‑op and post‑op areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia; continuous evaluation of patient condition.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients and families in preparation for discharge.
