Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Beverly ICU on 36-hour night shifts. The unit is a Beacon Awarded Critical Care unit with cardiac and medical/surgical populations, with Intensivist/physician assistant on site 24/7.

Responsibilities include assessments, medications, and therapy evaluation, collaboration on care plans, and patient/family education to optimize outcomes. Massachusetts RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required; ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patient's progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient.
• Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
