Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree
• Active RN license
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care and monitor vital signs for diverse surgical patients
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans per medical staff
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for smooth patient transitions
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital policies and procedures
