Job summary

Mia Aesthetics is hiring a Registered Nurse to support postoperative care in our surgical setting. The role focuses on primary patient care, rounds, and coordination with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care and timely post-operative management.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least one year of PACU experience, with bilingual English/Spanish being a plus. Training and opportunities for advancement are provided in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience.
• Active RN license and educational requirements.
• Active BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Participates in primary care of patients and rounds as indicated.
• Provides nursing care related to surgical condition.
• Monitors patients and informs surgeons or anesthesiologist of complications.
• Coordinates patient care with medical staff for continuity of care.
• Documents information disseminated to appropriate people/areas.
• Cares for post-operative orders and post-anesthesia documentation.
• Educates patient and family on post-operative care.
• Maintains order and cleanliness of postoperative areas.
• Assists with inventory and supplies in postoperative areas.
