Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care, manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications. You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams and participate in on-call coverage as discussed during interviews.

Qualifications

• RN license required or RN diploma eligible.
• ACLS within 60 days of start date.
• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• PALS within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care following evidence-based practices.
• Be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team including providers and therapy staff.
• Apply nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor, document changes during shift.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up.
