Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health – Lake Pointe in Rowlett seeks a Procedural Registered Nurse to oversee patient care in the PACU setting, leveraging 2 years of critical care experience. You will assess patients, develop plans, and delegate tasks per nursing standards.

Days with on-call requirements; 8–12 hour shifts for both children and adults, with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios. ACLS/BLS/PALS required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• 2 years PACU or ICU/ED critical care experience required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses and develop personalized care plans.
• Regularly assess patient responses and adjust care as needed.
• Delegate tasks based on nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and education for patients and staff.
• Provide patient-centered care and support to patients, families and teams.
