Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health – Lake Pointe, Rowlett, TX is seeking a Procedural Registered Nurse to join our team. The role requires 2 years PACU/ICU/ED experience, with day shifts and call, 8–12 hour shifts, and patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2.

You will assess patients, develop personalized care plans, and support safe navigation of the healthcare system while adhering to Texas nursing laws and standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years of PACU experience or ICU/ED experience (critical care) experience required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prioritize needs; create and adjust care plans.
• Track indicators and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients and staff and integrate teaching into care.
• Use systems thinking to solve problems for patients, families, and staff.
• Contribute to decision-making and maintain professionalism.

Job Summary

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
