Job summary

Join Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe Rowlett as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This role requires a minimum of 2 years PACU or ICU/ED critical care experience, and you must be a licensed RN.

ACLS/BLS/PALS or obtain within 30 days of hire are required. Work days with call, 8-12 hour shifts across both pediatric and adult populations, with 1:1 or 1:2 staffing in a facility with 8 PACU beds.

Qualifications

• 2 years of PACU experience or ICU/ED (critical care) experience required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Texas or ability to obtain.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care using the nursing practice model.
• Assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses and develop care plans.
• Regularly assess patient responses and adjust plans accordingly.
• Delegate tasks based on patient conditions, staff skills and regulations.
• Contribute to patient safety by following Texas nursing laws and standards.

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, work as a licensed professional using the nursing practice model to oversee patient care. Responsibilities include assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans. Regularly assess patient responses. Contributions help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the system. This prevents complications and delays. Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
