Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, TN, is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care, manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications. The role includes on-call hours and collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia teams.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• RN must be licensed as a Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• 2 years experience required; at least 1 year in critical care (ICU/ER/PACU)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices and continuous improvement
• Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team with providers, therapy, and more
• Consistently apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care
• Assess patient condition, monitor during shift, and document changes and care provided
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment, and follow-up measures
