Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced surgical setting in Wisconsin. You will monitor patients, manage pain and symptoms, and respond to urgent needs during the immediate postoperative period.

Responsibilities include vital sign assessment, patient education, safe handoffs, and adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited nursing program completed
• Current Wisconsin RN license; BLS required on hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients’ rights and provide compassionate care post-anesthesia
• Monitor vital signs and assess for stability after surgery
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care
• Maintain infection control and safety standards
• Record care information accurately in medical records
• Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams for handoffs and transitions of care
• Ensure optimal patient comfort and safety during recovery
