Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an RN for the PACU at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights. The role focuses on caring for post-surgical patients, supporting anesthesia in pre-operative areas, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The unit emphasizes safety, compassionate care, and adherence to nursing protocols. Ideal candidates hold RN licensure with ADN or BSN, and at least 1 year of acute care experience, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• One year of current acute care RN experience (will consider military RN experience).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge needs.
• Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues.
