Zusammenfassung

LCMC Health is seeking a Recovery Room Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in New Orleans, LA. You will monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, manage pain and vitals, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe recovery and timely discharge. You will educate families and complete post-operative documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Louisiana RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; BSN is preferred, and 1 year of related clinical experience is desired.

Qualifikationen

• Current Louisiana nursing license (RN).
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• BSN degree preferred; 1 year of related clinical experience preferred.
• CCRN or CPAN certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Monitor post-operative patients for pain, vitals, oxygen and recovery progress.
• Education and discharge planning for patients and families.
• Document clinical assessments and care plans.
• Monitor for postoperative complications and intervene as needed.
• Perform CPR or other emergency measures when required.
• Collaborate with surgery team to meet patient care needs.
