Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma; BSN preferred.
• RN license (Single State) or RN-Compact.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification or ACLS Instructor.
• Minimum 5 years direct patient care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation) in clinical care using evidence-based practice.
• Delivers relationship-based patient-centered care respecting age, gender, disease, and culture.
• Collaborates with patients and families through bedside shifts, rounds, and teaching, aligning goals with the care plan.
• Coordinates safe, quality care and maintains thorough documentation.
• Promotes teamwork, fiscal responsibility, and recruitment/retention of staff.
• Supports performance improvement and evidence-based practice, including research utilization.
