Ascension St. John Owasso is seeking a dedicated RN to join the PACU team.

You will lead the immediate post-operative recovery for anesthetized patients, delivering vigilant care through the critical recovery phases and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities include anticipating needs, maintaining sterile technique, and documenting patient progress while collaborating closely with the perioperative team.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date.
• Advanced Life Support within 180 days of hire date (ACLS/ALSO acceptable).
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead immediate post-operative recovery for anesthetized patients.
• Provide vigilant, direct care during critical phases of recovery.
• Anticipate and manage clinical needs with deep knowledge of pathophysiology and procedures.
• Manage pain levels and monitor real-time responses to interventions.
• Maintain sterile environment and follow evidence-based protocols (AORN/ASPAN).
• Document and communicate patient progress for the care team.
