Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH, seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across diverse acute care settings. The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing, delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs, and delivers comprehensive nursing care throughout the continuum.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification
• BSN required at 5 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment as applicable to the population and or individual (30%).
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates and documents response to nursing interventions and revises plan of care.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement to achieve targets of clinical quality and patient care.
• Operations - Supports day-to-day department operations.
