Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Post Anesthesia Care Pacu team. The role provides general nursing care to patients across the continuum of care with accountability under the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The position requires BLS certification and current RN licensure, with BSN preferred for advancement. The evening shift supports 40 hours per week in a high-reliability environment focused on safety, quality, and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license (Ohio Board of Nursing or multi-state compact)
• BLS certification
• BSN preferred or required for progression

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Delegate nursing tasks to LPNs/UAPs per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with ongoing documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to maintain safety and quality.
• Support operations in a 24/7 schedule.
