Silver Cross Surgery Center in New Lenox, IL is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide continuity and high-quality care for patients emerging from anesthesia. You will ensure safety, comfort, privacy, and assist physicians in procedure rooms as needed, including conscious sedation and sterile technique.

Qualifications include RN from an accredited school, active IL license, BLS and ACLS, with 2 years PACU/ICU experience preferred.

• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Strong communication skills and nursing judgment

Responsibilities

• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient and family in preparation for discharge
• Support physicians in procedure rooms with tasks, conscious sedation, and sterile techniques
