Job summary

Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center, operated by United Surgical Partners International, Inc, seeks a full-time PACU RN to join a fast-paced multispecialty setting in Manassas, VA. The role provides perioperative nursing care and supports patient-family centered care in the PACU.

Required: RN license in-state, BLS/ACLS; PALS as needed. Two years of PACU or critical care experience preferred. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage and retirement planning options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years' PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in the PACU using nursing process and plan of care.
• Monitor and document patient status post-anesthesia and perioperative care.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and perioperative team to ensure safe care.
• Prioritize workload and organize care to meet patient needs.
• Support patient-family-centered care and discharge planning as applicable.
