Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a PACU RN in Manassas, VA to provide immediate post-operative care for diverse surgical patients. The role supports collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams, ensuring safe transitions from OR to PACU and home.

The ideal candidate has an ADN or higher in nursing with an active RN license, 1 year of PACU/ICU experience preferred, and proficiency with EMR systems, plus BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• RN license active and unencumbered
• ADN or higher in nursing required
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team collaboration
• Proficient in EMR systems and documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitor vital signs and anesthesia-related symptoms
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by clinicians
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for smooth patient transition from operating room to PACU and discharge
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies
