Qualifications

• Monitor pre- and post-operative patients' levels of consciousness during recovery from anesthesia.
• Measure and record patients' vital signs.
• Observe for signs of anesthesia-related side effects.
• Treat pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms.
• Update charts, patient files and medical records.
• Collaborate with the medical team on post-operative care and interventions.
• Provide comfort to distressed post-operative patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-surgery care.
