Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. (USPI) is seeking a Preoperative/Postoperative PACU Registered Nurse for our Florida Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center-Cypress in Tampa.

This role focuses on recovery care for anesthesia and post-operative support within an ambulatory surgery setting. You'll monitor vital signs, educate patients and families, document care, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure safe, timely interventions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pre- and post-operative patients' vital signs and consciousness during recovery.
• Record patient data and update medical records.
• Observe for anesthesia-related side effects and manage pain and nausea.
• Collaborate with the medical team for timely postoperative interventions.
• Provide comfort and information to patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-surgery care.
