Job summary

Huntington Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for PACU with 12-hour shifts in Pasadena. The PACU RN provides concentrated observation and collaborates with physicians to coordinate post-anesthesia care, discharge planning, and transfer to the next level of care.

The role requires a BSN, CA RN license, BLS/PALS/ACLS, and 1 year of acute care experience (2 years preferred). Flexibility in hours is needed to support patient needs.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• 1 year of current acute care experience; 2 years preferred.
• Must pass Basic Dysrhythmia within 21 days of hire.
• Current RN license (CA BRN).
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required; CPAN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care across the health care continuum and assist other team members.
• Provide concentrated observation and care for post-anesthesia patients in PACU.
• Discharge planning, transfer to appropriate department, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Demonstrate flexibility in hours as needed.
