Job summary

Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 12HR Night shift in the Critical Care Unit. The nurse coordinates care, discharges planning, and supports team communication to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Requirements include a BSN, California RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS within 30 days, and 2+ years in critical care. Proficiency with EPIC and critical care monitoring is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current experience in a critical care unit
• Experience in surgical, neuro, cardiac or trauma nursing preferred
• Must pass Basic Dysrhythmia course within 21 days of hire
• Proficient with computerized documentation systems (EPIC preferred)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across the health care continuum and with the care team.
• Discharge planning, resource identification and scheduling required services.
• Monitor care delivery and evaluate outcomes for quality and safety.
• Advocate for patients and families while ensuring timely documentation.
