Job summary

Community Hospital OKC is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse in the PACU to join our skilled surgical team. The RN provides direct perioperative nursing care, monitors patients recovering from anesthesia, and collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists and the multidisciplinary health care team to ensure safe, efficient patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma.
• Minimum of one year experience in PACU or acute care preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to surgical patients in the PACU according to policy and procedure.
• Monitors patient recovery from anesthesia and vital signs; adjusts care plan as needed.
• Coordinates patient care with the multidisciplinary team including surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort; documents care accurately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
