Job summary

MedStar Health in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced PACU RN for a unit-based PRN role. The position supports various postoperative patients and emphasizes teamwork in a state-of-the-art surgical pavilion.

Candidates should have an RN license (MD or compact state) and ADN/BSN/MSN/CNL; 1 year RN experience required, 2+ years PACU preferred for full-time, and BLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred or obtained within 6 months after hire. Relocation and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1 year of RN experience required. For the full-time role, 2+ years of PACU RN experience strongly preferred. Experience with vents a plus.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS, PALS preferred or PALS within 6 months after hire.
