Job summary

Incredible Health in San Ramon, CA is seeking a PACU RN to provide immediate post-operative care across a range of surgical patients. You will monitor vitals, manage anesthesia-related symptoms, and collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure smooth transitions from the OR to PACU and discharge.

The role requires an ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year PACU/ICU experience, BLS and ACLS, and strong teamwork and EMR skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
