Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring a PACU RN in the Rock Hill, SC area to provide immediate post-operative care for a diverse surgical patient population. You will monitor vitals and manage anesthesia-related symptoms, ensuring smooth transitions from OR to PACU and discharge home.

This role offers day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem options. Requirements include ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year PACU/ICU experience, BLS & ACLS, and strong teamwork with

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
