Incredible Health in Pendleton, OR is hiring a PACU Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, post-operative care. Day shifts are available across full-time, part-time and per diem roles, with responsibilities spanning vital signs, medication administration, and patient education.

The role emphasizes collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists, accurate documentation, and patient discharge planning. Requires ADN or higher, RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing; BLS/ACLS required.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or equivalent high-acuity experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork; proficient with EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing symptoms of anesthesia.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from operating room to PACU and discharge home.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac Monitoring, Circulate, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Transplant, or Wound & drain care.

• Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Salary: $77,500 to $127,620 /year
