Job summary

Assignments require 1–2 years of recent PACU or related experience and an active license in a US state. You will receive onboarding, payroll processing, and access to comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent PACU/nursing experience.
• Active nursing license in any US state.
• Additional facility-specific certifications may be required.
• Enthusiastic, adventurous spirit and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-anesthesia vital signs, assess level of consciousness, and observe for anesthesia-related side effects.
• Support patient recovery and communicate with surgical teams and facilities.

Job description

Also known as recovery room nurses, post-anesthesia care unit or PACU nurses care for patients who are recovering from anesthesia after surgery. They monitor post-operation vital signs, assess levels of consciousness, and carefully observe patients for any side effects from anesthesia.

Basic travel nursing requirements include:

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
