Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is hiring an experienced registered nurse in Florence, SC to provide comprehensive care in PACU/ER settings. You will lead peers, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and apply the nursing process to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, professional practice participation, and adherence to standards of care within MUSC's governance model. Eligible for sign-on bonus and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
Current SC RN license or compact state license.
ACLS/BLS certification as required by unit.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
Directs and leads team members; collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
Delivers patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Maintains patient privacy and a therapeutic environment.
Participates in professional practice model, governance, and continuous learning.
Coordinates care delivery and identifies priorities to improve outcomes.
