Job summary

Teton Outpatient Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for PreOp and PostOp care in a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center. The RN will plan, coordinate, and oversee patient care in PreOp and PostOp, following nursing standards and center policies.

Responsibilities include decision-making for direct patient care and collaboration with the care team; opportunities to participate in quality improvement activities and committees as designated by management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 1+ year PACU experience; cross-training for PreOP.
• Wyoming or compact RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to make nursing-judgment-based decisions.
• Prioritize and organize workload to meet patient needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee care for patients in PreOp and PostOp.
• Make decisions regarding direct patient care and communicate with team members.
• May serve on committees or participate in quality improvement audits/projects.
